Finally after 3 (The Morning Rush Book Signing)

Finally, after 2 heartbreaks in Robinson’s Galleria and Trinoma, I finally got to taste the experience that many rushers are wanting. Yes I finally got my book signed by Chico and Delamar and it took 3 tries to have it.

Earlier today in National Bookstore Megamall what I didn’t got in Galleria and Trinoma I finally got in there. It was another fun day not only because I got my book signed but also at last I was able to meet the people behind the book and the revered radio morning show The Morning Rush. Del was really so beautiful and I think she’s getting more beautiful as she age (am not saying she’s old ah). While Chico on the other hand is still funny as always. It only took almost an hour until my book was signed, good thing I came early this time that’s why I got the first batch of numbers.

Patience and determination really pays off. If you didn’t get what you want in the first try there will always be second, third or even fourth time for us to accomplished a thing that we really love to do. We just need to remain optimistic and positive that in time we will eventually have the thing that we long to have.

Morning Rush Top 10: The Book Launch

It was a nice experience last Saturday when I attended the jam packed book launch of The Morning Rush Top 10 Book. Held at the the Robinson’s Galleria Activity center in Ortigas I was in awe seeing the box office line leading to the stage where the book signing is done. Present of course are the 2 famous and inevitable DJ’s of The Morning Rush Chico and Delamar who tirelessly signed each and every books of the morning rush fans and followers.

Different faces of different ages flocked there to have their books signed (including me even if I failed to meet the cutoff number). But what’s memorable for me was meeting those people I only interacted on twitter then. Together with one of my braders XtianoRhoynaldo, the book launch became an opportunity to give moving faces to the names I often talk on twitter. It was a nice day meeting twitter pals such us jrhyan, kitrich, cut3rw1nst0n, rairaiwashere, yoursuperdan and the prinsesa krizzieenrile. But it became more fun when I got the authograph of the most famous and well know rusher “THE” Oscar dela Hopia.I may not have it signed by Chico and Del but at least I have THE ODH. hehe.

It was indeed a really fun afternoon. Seeing the closeness and bonding of the rusher group was inspiring and the energy that radiates from them was contagious. I can really say it was not only a FAN GROUP it was a FAMILY. Congrats to Chico and Del for a successful launch and congrats to all the Rushers, both SILENT and NOISY ohh I mean ACTIVE. The book will not be possible without the rushers, who keep on tweeting and sending sensible and funny statements. Keep the laugh alive, continue the morning rush. I am happy to be part of this big family.
