Tropical storm Ofel moving towards West Philippine Sea

Tropical Storm Ofel with the international name of Son-Tihn is currently moving towards the direction of West Philippine Sea.

According to the latest update from PAG-ASA as of 1:00pm today October 25,2012, Ofel is found 90km West of Cavite Province (13.9’N, 119.9’E). It has estimated maximum sustained winds of 75kph near the center and gustiness of up to 90kph. Ofel is forecasted to be 510km West of Metro Manila by Friday morning.

Public Storm Warning Signal #2 is up on the following provinces in Luzon; Batangas, Lubang Island, Marinduque, Oriental and Occidental Mindoro and Romblon. While Signal #1 is at Metro Manila, Bataan, Cavite, Laguna, Southern Quezon, Burias Island, Masbate, Aklan, Capiz, Iloilo, and Calamian Group of Islands.
