CebuPacManilaDubaiFlight“You say Dubai! I Say Hello”

That is how the Philippines’ premier budget carrier introduced their first long-haul flight. Yes, you read it right, Cebu Pacific Air will soon be flying the Manila-Dubai route starting October 7, 2013. This is Cebu Pacific’s 21st international destination and they are excited to serve the more of less 700,000 Filipino OFWs in Dubai and other parts of United Arab Emirates.

In a press briefing, Cebu Pacific’s President and CEO Lance Gokongwei said, “The strategy of Cebu Pacific is primarily to serve the Filipino people and offer low fares. The necessary factor [in choosing our next destination] is the concentration of Filipinos [in that area]”.

This will be a great news for the millions of OFWs not only in Dubai but in the rest of the Middle East because, they can now afford to go home more often. With Cebu Pacific’s daily budget flights to Dubai, it will no longer become too much burden on their budget if they intend to go back and forth to the Philippines whenever they need.

And along with this announcement of their first long-haul flight, Cebu Pacific offers their seat sale for the Manila-Dubai flight. Their lite fare offers P888 base fare on a one way ride from Manila-Dubai and vice versa. Seat sale will start on January 20, 2013 and will end until all seats are taken. Travel period for this Manila-Dubai inaugural flight will be from October 7, 2013 to January 15, 2014.
