NCR and Cavite suspends classes for Wednesday July 16, 2014

In anticipation of Typhoon Glenda, several local government units in Metro Manila and Cavite have decided to suspend classes for Wednesday July 16. This is to prevent any untoward incidents that may happen in the event of the Typhoon hitting the areas.

Below are the cities and municipalities that suspended their classes:

All levels

Mandaluyong (public and private)
Manila (public and private)
Marikina (public and private)
Muntinlupa (public and private)
Navotas (public and private)
Paranaque (public and private)
Pasay (public and private)
Pateros (public and private)
Quezon City (public and private)
San Juan (public and private)
Valenzuela City (public and private)
Cavite (public and private)

Meanwhile, Binangonan, Rizal also suspends their classes for Wednesday from Pre-School to High School both public and private.

Update: As of 4:05PM, here are additional LGUs that also declares suspension of classes for July 16.

Taguig City (All levels, Public and Private)

Angono, Rizal (All levels, Public and Private)

Malolos, Bulacan (All levels, Public and Private)
San Mateo, Rizal (All levels, Public and Private).

Schools, Colleges and Universities

Philippine College of Criminology Classes
Polytechnic University of the Philippines (Metro Manila, Quezon, Laguna, Sto. Tomas, Ragay and Mariveles campuses)
