Sen. Miriam Santiago tops ABC class in latest Presidential survey

Senator Miriam Defensor – Santiago is the preferred Presidential bet of the ABC class according to the latest Presidential survey.

In the latest Pulse Asia survey acquired by Rappler, the lady Senator beat all rumored presidential candidates in the ABC class or known as the Educated/Thinking class. Santiago averaged at 19% followed by Vice President Jejomar Binay (who have longed pronounced his intention of running) and neophyte Senator Grace Poe at 17%. Liberal Party’s Sentimental choice for the Presidency DILG Sec. Mar Roxas meanwhile is on 3rd place at 10%.

Earlier on, Sen. Santiago hinted on running for the presidency again given she totally recovered from her lung cancer.

While Miriam leads the ABC class it was still VP Binay who tops the survey in classes D and E with 26% and 30% respectively. Binay also tops all geographical locations getting 29% in NCR, 22% in Balanced Luzon, 28% in Visayas and 30% in Mindanao with the total Philippine percentage of 26%, 5% lower from his previous 31% in September.

Following Binay in a not so far range is Senator Grace Poe totaling 18%, an increase of 8% from her previous 10% in September. Senator Santiago place third in the national average at 12%.

The survey was conducted from November 14-20 with 1,200 respondents around the country.
