VP Binay: Most untrusted top official according to the latest survey

In the latest survey conducted Nov 14 -20 by the Pulse Asia, Vice President Jejomar Binay came out as the most untrusted among the top officials of the country.

From the 1,200 survey respondents, 26% Distrusts the Vice President an increased of 15% from his previous Distrust rating of 11%. Taking the geographical locations, Binay also tops NCR (25%), Luzon (29%) and Visayas (26%) while placing 2nd to CJ Sereno in Mindanao at 20% (Sereno at 22%).

In social classes, Binay tops distrust ratings in ABC class at 32% (almost triple the score of Pres. Aquino at 14%) and D class at 26%. For his bailiwick class E, Binay ranked 2nd (tied with CJ Sereno) at 23% following House Speaker Sonny Belmonte at 26%.

In terms of Performance ratings, the Vice President also got the biggest Disapproval score at 23%. He also topped the Disapproval ratings in all geographical locations and all social classes.

The result of the survey may have been the effect of the corruption allegations hurled against the Vice President as the survey period coincides the Senate hearing on the overpriced Makati Parking Building and his botched public debate against Sen. Trillanes.

Meanwhile, President Aquino is still the most trusted and least untrusted leader of the country at 56% and 13% respectively. VP Binay followed Aquino in the Trust ratings raking with 44%, next are Drilon, Belmonte and Sereno with 42%, 31% and 33% respectively.
