The PSEi fell 43.88 points of 0.57% to close in today’s trading at 7,617.30. This is after the PSE’s main index flew to a new all time high yesterday at 7,661.18.
But before it ended on a low notes today, PSEi recorded an intraday all time high at 7,736.97, the highest close of the Philippine Stock Market’s main index.
All other indices were also in the red zone except Financials index which grew by 8.86 points or 0.50% to close at 1,785.99. Highest loosing index today was the Property index which slipped by 1.56% or 46.66 points at 2,947.31 while the least looser is the Mining and Oil index which is down by only 0.14% or 22.23 points at 15,902.69.
The broader All shares index on the other hand slashed 0.62% to close at 4,427.16, Industrial index is down by 0.56% at 12,559.80, Services down by 0.91% at 2,154.79), and Holding Firms at 6,721.69 down by 0.18%.
Most active stocks for today was SM Investments which added 1.39%. Decliners toppled Advancers at 116-65 with 43 unchanged. Total volume turnover was 2,397,728,993, with the total value of 13,053,593,204.00
