PSE bounces upward after a Bloody Wednesday


The Philippine Stocks Exchange indices bounces back to green zone after suffering a “Bloody Wednesday” trading yesterday.

All indices as in the upward position with PSE’s main index PSEi gaining 0.75% or 59.02 points to close at 7,892.05. Highest gaining index in today’s trading was the Mining and Oil index gaining 1.75% or 256.23 point at 14,903.91. Next to it was the Property index which closed at 3,202.91 up by 36.03 points of 1.14%. Remaining index performances are, All Shares up by 0.89% at 4,518.72, Financials added 6.42 points to close at 1,838.57, Industrial index gains the least at 0.19% to close at 12, 317.46, Holding firms at 7,017.95 up by 1.04% and Services with 0.72% gain at 2,141.19.

Most active stocks goes to SM Prime, up by 2.62% at 19.60. Advancers almost doubles the decliners at 112 – 63 with 54 unchanged. Total volume turnover is 1,045,869,697 with the value of 9,591,549,447.36.
