Benedict Serrano of Bicol University tops May 2015 Nursing Licensure Exam

benedict serranoA Bicol University – Legazpi graduate, Benedict Rey Montas Serrano tops this year’s May 2015 Nursing Licensure exam.

In the official result released by the Professional Regulations Commission, Serrano got an average of 86.40% to claim the top spot in the May 2015 Nursing Licensure Exam. Serrano beats 9,706 other nurses who passed the NLE to be their top notcher.

According to PRC, 9,707 out of 17,891 or 54.26% examinees have passed the May 2015 Nursing Exams, 3% less than the passing percentage of the November 2014 exams.

Following Serrano is Charlyn Montebon Villa from Riverside College Bacolod who scored 86.20%. And on 3rd place are Marnelli Atos also from Bicol University, Kevin Babia of Southern Luzon State University (SLSU) and Christine Mae Galeon of Our Lady of Fatima University with 85.60%.

Meanwhile, Chinese General Hospital Colleges, Siliman University and West Visayas State University-La Paz tops the schools in the May 2015 Nursing Licersure exam. The 3 universities got a passing rate of 100% meaning all of their graduates who took the nursing board have passed the exam. Ranked 2nd among the schools is De La Salle University Health Sciences Institute with 98.70% passing rate. On 3rd is Benguet State University – La Trinidad which got an average passing rate of 98.68% followed by Far Easter University – Nicanor Reyes Medical Foundation with 96.61% and Bicol University – Legazpi at 5th place with 96.23%.
