Palawan wins Best Island in the World anew

Palawan was again adjudged as the Best Island In The World for two consecutive years now.

In an article posted Monday October 19 on travel website Conde Nast Traveler, Palawan was named as the reader’s top choice for the Best Island in the World for 2015. Getting an overall rating of 85.937 from the CNT readers, Palawan beats 19 other equally beautiful islands in the world to get the top spot again for the 2nd year in a row.

Last year, Palawan also emerged as the top choice of Conde Nast readers as the Best Island in the World for 2014.

Meanwhile, two other Philippine Islands made it to the top 20 Best Islands of the World according to CN Traveler. Cebu was ranked 19th with an overall rating of 80.404 and Boracay Island in the 15th spot with an overall rating of 80.856

Following Palawan in the top 5 are Bora Bora in French Polynesia, Moorea also in French Polynesia, Waiheke Island in New Zealand and Bermuda Island in North Atlantic.

Conde Nast Traveler’s Best Island in the World Readers Choice Award is an annual ranking of the best islands in the world by CN Traveler’s Readers.
