With just more than 1 week to go before the deadline of voter’s registration, COMELEC released the schedule of satellite registrations in different malls and schools in Metro Manila from October 17-31.
Satellite registrations will be available in SM Manila, Robinson’s Otis, SM San Lazaro, Tutuban Mall and Lucky China Town Mall for the City of Manila. In Quezon City registrations will be at Waltermart EDSA, SM City North EDSA, SM Cubao, Eastwood Mall, Robinsons Magnolia, SM Centerpoint and Fairview Terraces. For Caloocan, there will be satellite registrations in SM Sangandaan and Puregold Caloocan. Las Pinas residents can go to SM Center and Robinson’s Place while Mandaluyong and Malabon can register in Robinson’s Forum and Robinson’s Town Mall respectively. For Marikina and Muntinlupa registration will be in SM Marikina and Starmall Activity Center. Robinson’s Hypermart, SM Sucat and Waltermart Sucat will host registration in Paranaque and SM MOA for Pasay. And for Pasig City it will be in SM Center Frontera Verde and Robinson’s Metro Eastwood.
COMELEC will only accept voters registration until October 31, 2015. Aside from registrations, registered voters with no biometrics are also encourage to go to their COMELEC offices to have their biometrics captured. COMELEC will not honor a voter with no biometrics come 2016 Philippine elections day. That’s is why they have the campaign No Bio No Boto.
So to those who still want to participate in the coming 2016 Philippine elections, go to these satellite registration centers or your local COMELEC offices and get registered. Voting is one of our most sacred duties as citizens of this nations.
