“President Aquino III will always be the best president on the times I have been socially aware”
Six years and I can still recall the 2010 campaign season. I will not be ashamed to say that I am one of those Yellow Armies (who later was tagged as Noytards or Yellowtards) who campaigned for him relentlessly. Social media was just starting to pick up at that time thus the surge in social media campaign.
Gamit ang Facebook at Twitter, I was tireless in campaigning for this man because I believe in his sincere promise to bring reforms in the country plagued with scandals of corruption. Marami man akong nakasagutan, nakadebate at nakabalitaktakan in defending my choice for president in 2010, I remained steadfast because I know I am making the right choice.
After his election by 42% or more than 15 million of the population, PNoy started his presidency in high spirit. The whole country was inspired, full of hope because we knew there will good future to look forward to. His inaugural address which called on the stopping of “wang-wang” mentality resonated so much that politician can no more use of that privilege to be ahead of ordinary people. His speeches which use Filipino language is very much endeared because it really captures the heart as aspirations of every Filipino.
It may not be a perfect six years because of the blunders and flaws of your administration but you still managed to exceed everyone’s expectation from being just a son of democracy icons.
Salamat PNoy for bringing our country to new heights. Stock market topping its very own records many times was unprecedented. Thank you for instilling good investment climate kaya nagpasukan ang mga mamumuhunan sa ating bansa. Ilang beses kang kinastigo ng China for your stand but you remained firm with our cause that what is ours is ours.
Ultimately, than you PNoy for an inspirational leadership. I know and many knows you’re not a perfect president, you commit mistakes and blunders, but above that is a leader who chose to make his people believe that we can always weather any storm. You inspired as to dream again. You inspired us to be collaborative in pushing this country forward. You inspired us to believe that the Filipino race is worth fighting for. We are much better off this time compared to the many years of your predecessors. And that will be the greatest legacy you will leave, a president who made a sweeping change from the time he started office. A president who uplifted the Philippine name from being the sick man of Asia to the region’s newest rising star.
Salamat PNoy, you made us proud to be called Filipinos and to be citizens of the Philippines. You will always be my best president among those I have been socially aware of.
Salamat PNoy and goodbye to your inspirational leadership.
