The Philippine Stocks Exchange main index (PSEi) ended the week on a 3-day loosing streak.
PSE’s main index PSEi traded 0.36% low at 7238.52. This is the 3rd straight day that the PSEi went down since Tuesday January 10, 2017 loosing 125.82 points or 1.71%.
Mining and Oil is the biggest loser going down by 2.76% or 347.59 points at 12, 238.26. Holding Firms on the other hand is the least loser with only 0.03% or 1.87 points at 7,373.60. While Industrial index is the sole winner in today’s trading as it went up by 0.05% or 5.0 points to end it’s trading day at 11,205.82. PSE’s broader index All Shares also went down by 0.44% or 19.15 points at 4,360.83
Other indices performance were, Financials index down by 0.37% at 1,747.62, Services index fell by 0.55% to close at 1,387.01 and Property index also on the down ward position shedding 0.76% to close at 3,251.67.
SM Prime Holdings Inc topped the most active stocks with the value of 352,647,890.
Advancers were dominated by the decliners 67 to 114 with 55 unchanged. Top advancer belonged to Keppel Philippines with an increase of 16.01% while top decliner goes to Marc Ventures Holdings sheding 14.55%.
Total volume turnover is 1,430,071,270, with the total value of 5,365,271,947.77.
