That was proven time and again in the latest ad by the country’s leading fastfood chain Jollibee.
The ad entitled “Vow” under the #KwentongJollibee series has already gone viral on social media for its story line. Many netizen praised and “cursed” Jollibee for masterfully executing the topic of love and friendship especially the #Friendzone one. Many others can’t help but sob and get emotional at how the lead character was able to transcend his love for his bestfriend and stand on the aisle as the best man on her wedding.
No wonder why this ad has clicked to pinoys because unrequitted love and friendship always have a soft spot in Pinoy’s hearts. #Friendzone is also a convenient topic that many Pinoys can relate because we love complicated, hurtful and “hugot” stories.
Congratulations to Jollibee for coming up with this marketing genius again. Surely this will go down as one of the most memorable TV commercials of all time.
